L & N Train Depot and Model Train Exhibit
The Foley, Alabama Railroad Museum consists of two different museums.  The Foley Museum Archives is housed in the old L&N depot that was built in 1908.  Here are artifacts that depict the history and culture of Foley and Baldwin County.  Open Mon. - Fri. 10:00 - 4:00 pm  The Model Train Exhibit is a new addition to the museum.  It has a 60' x 20' "O" gauge train layout that consists of over a quarter mile of track.  There are 12 different railroad lines represented and a replica of the old L & N Hummingbird.  Model train exhibit is open Tues, Thurs. and Sat.  10:00 - 2:00 pm     Call 251-943-1818 for more info.
    The museum is located in downtown Foley and is easy to get to from Interstates 10 and 65.  Take the Gulf Shores Parkway (Highway 59) exit to the intersection of 59 and 98 in Foley.  Turn left and the museum is on the left.
