Beach n River Kayak Rentals

Beach n River Kayak Rentals offers 4hr self-guided floats from the easy shallow beach launch site onto the still waters of Bon Secour River. Located 1 mi. W. of Hwy 59 and 10min from Alabama Gulf Coast in Foley, we supply kayak rentals of single or double sit-on-top kayaks launching from our location.

Seasonal hours are June through August with float times by RESERVATIONS ONLY from 10 a.m. THROUGH noon.

Foley Alabama Railroad Museum and Archives

The museum is housed in the Louisville and Nashville railroad station built in 1908. Catch a glimpse into the history and culture of Foley and Baldwin County. The museum contains reminders of the days when Foley was a thriving agricultural center and the railroad played a major role in its prosperity.


Foley Alabama Railroad Museum- Model Train Exhibit

This 60 x 20 foot "O" gauge model train exhibit provides entertainment for all ages. The exhibit offers over 1/4 mile of track and one mile of wiring along with 84 freight cars, 50 passenger coaches, and a replica of the L&N Hummingbird.

Hours of Operation: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.


Foley's Antique Rose Trail
The Antique Rose Trail winds through downtown Foley, one block east of Hwy. 59 from the gazabo in Heritage Park north to Berry Street. The gracefully landscaped trail showcases hundreds of disease-resistant heritage roses of all sizes and colors.


Graham Creek Nature Preserve

Graham Creek contains 484 acres of natural habitats including pine savannas, wetlands and tidal marshes. It also features a canoe/kayak launch, walking and hiking trails, picnic areas and bird watching. Throughout the preserve interpretive signage identifies populations of rare plant and animal species and their habitats.

This 30,000 square foot facility is open 7 days a week and offers 24 lanes with easy automatic scoring. Join a league, have a party, or just enjoy bowling. Enjoy dining at the restaurant "Captain's Choice Sports Bar & Grill," snack bar, party rooms, upstairs mezzanine viewing area, adult pool table room, family arcade.


Heritage Park

located behind the Foley Railroad Museum (125 E. Laurel Ave.)

This beautifully landscaped park is the setting for many of Foley's annual outdoor events including Christmas in the Park, Art in the Park, and Music and a Movie in the Park. It is also a great place to spend time enjoying the outdoors.


Holmes Medical Museum

111 W. Laurel Ave.

The Holmes Medical Museum is located in Baldwin County's first hospital, which served the community from 1936-1958. Many of the items on display are the original medical artifacts including surgical instruments, operating room machinery and a human skeleton. The interior of the museum is practically unchanged from the time it served as the area's first hospital.


Max Griffin Park

This city park features 2 softball fields, a kid's park, playground equipment, picnic areas and a swimming pool that is open to the public during the summer.


Melvin Roberts Cedar Street Park and Nature Trail

This city park features 3 baseball fields, 4 lighted tennis courts, a basketball court, a covered pavilion, playground equipment and a Nature Trail with a gazebo.


Performing Arts Center

The Art Center is home to the Foley Performing Arts Association. The gallery features the work of many artists and craftsmen who live throughout the southeast. All artwork showcased is for sale on consignment. Choose from pottery, handmade textiles, jewelry, photography, glass, porcelain, wood carvings and paintings.


Raymond C. Christensen Memorial 5-Plex

The City of Foley proudly opened this new sports complex in 2009. It is the site of the City of Foley's recreational baseball and softball programs. It can be used as 5 baseball fields or 3 softball fields. It also houses a playground for the kids.


Seahorse Stables

Seahorse Stables is open year round offering horseback riding, trail rides, hayrides, and group rates. No experience necessary.


Stacey's Old Tyme Soda Fountain

Stacey's was established in 1929, and is known for its soda fountain, where you can enjoy hand-made milk shakes, malts, ice cream sodas, sundaes, phosphates, splits, tin roofs and sandwiches. Self-serve cups of coffee are still only 10 cents a cup.


Swatters Sports Complex

Swatters Sports Complex is an all indoor sports experience that features 7 Iron Mike Batting Cages, 2 live hitting cages, as well as a 10,000 square foot astroplay field. They also hoffer a fitness gym.
